I also have a master's degree in counselling and psychotherapy (MCAP) and am happily retired.
As a young adult, I spent about six years traveling, with a mission to visit half of the countries in the world. With that mission complete, I ended up being lucky enough to live in Australia, halfway around the world from where I was born.
When I turned 60, I got my International Laughter Yoga Leaders certificate (trained with people all over the world) and started weightlifting! Learning new things is very important as we age, and I'm a firm believer in that.
At 65 years of age, Grandpa M took up wing foiling – that's flying over the ocean (or lake) on a little surfboard with a hydrofoil underneath it and a handheld wing! YES! How awesome is that? He's been doing it for a few years now... Wooohooo!
