Christmas Who Am I? Guessing Game

This printable set of game cards includes a range of 36 movie stars from Christmas movies. If there are characters you are unfamiliar with, you can remove those cards from the game before playing. I have also included a page of blank cards, and a page of blank but decorated cards so that you can add any of your own favorite movie star names or characters.

This game is for 2 or more players.

Supplies Needed:
1. Printable game cards with Christmas movie actors or actresses' names (use the provided list or customize as per your preference).
2. Scissors to cut out the cards.
3. Headbands for each player.
4. Tape or adhesive to attach the cards to the headbands.
5. A timer (optional).

To Play:

1. Prepare. Print and cut out the game cards. Give each player a headband to wear.

2. Shuffle the cards and place them on a stack face down in the middle of the table.

3. Attach the cards. Select a card without looking at it and attach it to your own headband facing outward, ensuring that everyone else can see the card except you. Everyone repeats this process. Now everyone can see which card each player has, except their own.

4. Start the game. You could start with the youngest player and proceed clockwise around the table, or just start with the person to your right. Take turns to ask one question about your card as you try to gather your details. The objective is to figure out which Christmas movie star you are by asking yes-or-no questions.

Each player takes a turn asking questions to the group to determine their star. Questions can include information about the actor's role, appearance, or the movie they are from. For example, you might ask – am I male or female? Am I old or young? Am I still alive? Do I have a scar on my face? etc.

The other players can only respond with "yes," "no," or "maybe."

5. Set a Time Limit (Optional). You can use a timer to keep the game moving or make it more challenging. Just set a time limit for each player's turn.

6. Guessing the Name. Each player continues asking questions until they feel confident enough to make a guess. It must be their turn to make the guess. The first person to identify their actor is the winner of that round. When a player guesses the right name, they can remove the card from their headband. If the guess is incorrect, the game continues until someone correctly identifies their actor.

The other players can then keep taking turns to ask questions about their card until all actors have been identified. Once a round is complete, each player chooses a new card from the pile to start playing again.

7. Winning the Game. The game can continue for a set number of rounds, or until everyone has had a chance to guess. The player with the most correct guesses at the end of the game is the winner. Or if you're using set rounds - the player who is the first to correctly identify five actors is the winner. Be sure to pick the set of rounds beforehand.

8. Variations. For added fun, you can introduce additional rules, such as acting out the movie character without speaking or limiting questions to a certain theme.

Remember to keep the atmosphere light and enjoyable, encouraging laughter and festive spirit throughout the game. Happy playing!
